Developed by Shalon Chemical Industries in Israel, this adult sized mask is intended for Military and Police Law enforcement personnel, providing respiratory protection from NBC (nuclear, biological and chemical) agents in addition to CN, CS, and P100 particulates. The design affords optimum comfort and fit, while causing minimal interference with the performance of duties, employment of weapons, and effective communication.

These are current issue Israeli MILITARY Gas Masks. They INCLUDE a built-in water canteen adaptor (canteen & straw connector are optional) that will allow the drinking of water without having to remove your mask. This feature is a must in our opinion to rehydrate yourself when using your gas mask.

INCLUDED at NO EXTRA COST with each ISRAELI M15 gas mask is a working NATO NBC filter for pre-use practicing (a regular $18 value). Unlike most masks sold elsewhere, you'll now be able to actually try your mask with an actual filter in place so you know what to do and what to expect BEFORE you need it (without having to use your new filter). Operation of these masks is very easy, but we do recommend familiarizing yourself with your mask and actually try using it when you receive it.

Also INCLUDED with your mask is a CURRENT DATED NBC Gas Mask Filter (normal $42 retail). These filters have been tested to pass current NATO military standards. They will provide you with clean, filtered air for up to 6 to 10 hours which will allow you time to safely evacuate and seek safe shelter.

If you are going to this level of preparedness, we suggest, as an added margin of safety, purchasing 1 to 2 extra spare filters so should you or someone in your group need one, or should your evacuation take longer, you'll be prepared.

Important Note:
Like most gas masks made, the Israeli gas masks will not perform correctly for men with facial hair or beards (most trimmed mustaches are ok). We suggest testing your mask for a correct seal by putting it on without a filter attached. This test is done by placing the palm of your hand snuggly over the masks filter openning and inhaling. The mask should suck in towards your face and remain tightly sealed (5 to 10 seconds). If air leaks through anywhere around the perimeter of the mask seal, the mask will NOT provide safe protection.
