Product Description Pro: Low cost, even burning, light-weight, attractive from a distance.
Con: Made of thin stamped steel, with a very flimsy feel. I ordered two, and both were slightly bent at the junction where the chimney sits on top of the fuel tank. Lighting this without burning your fingers and/or sooting up the glass requires incredible dexterity (more than I have). The fuel cap is also very lightly built, and will easily strip if you're not careful screwing it on.
Other: This is purely for light duty, and doesn't look like it will be long lasting. If you have only occasional power outages and want something besides candles for temporary light, this will work. Otherwise, look for something more sturdy (and expensive!)
This is a classic design, oil/kerosene lantern. The lantern measures 12-inch tall and made of metal with a wired covered glass globe, fully adjustable cotton wick.
