The Katadyn PowerSURVIVOR-160E MODULAR 12-volt Desalinator is the big brother of the PowerSurvivor-80E. It offers the same reliable performance, but with nearly DOUBLE THE OUTPUT (6.7 gal/hr).
Simplicity: The PowerSurvivor 160E is the easiest to maintain of any watermaker at this output level. As a result, you can perform periodic maintenance with a few common tools and easy to follow instructions. Simple to install, operate and maintain.
Compactness: Relative to its output, the 160E is very compact. With separation of the membrane module and the pump/motor unit, the 160E can fit into even the tightest of spaces on your yacht.

The Survivor-40E allows you to make your drinking water "on the run". Made to safely desalinate ocean sea water into fresh drinking water.
Unit combines reverse osmosis and energy recovery technology to make pure, drinkable water from salt, brackish or contaminated fresh water. Within a few minutes you can have fresh drinking water with virtually all sea salts and other contaminants removed. You literally transform salt water into pure fresh water by pumping it though a special membrane at very high pressure, leaving the salt on the other side of the membrane.
The PowerSurvivor-160E delivers an impressive high output production rate of 6.7 GALLONS PER HOUR with the simplicity of the smaller 80E 0r 40E units!

This item is backed by Katadyn for any manufacture defects. Unlike our general return policy we will not accept returns of unsealed or used electronics. Please be careful when ordering to choose the correct item. Because this is a SPECIAL ORDER ITEM, it is returnable ONLY with a return authorization number and shipped back to us within 30 days of receipt. A 20% Restocking Fee will be assessed on all returns. Unit MUST be in NEW unused condition and returned with all packing and documentation. Returns not meeting these conditions will be rejected.
